Day 1
Welcome to La Belle Province of Quebec. Arrive into Montreal with dinner served at your hotel. Our location provides easy access to travel through the Laurentian Mountains. – Hilton Laval (D)
Day 2
Go on safari at Parc Omega, home to various North American wildlife including moose, bear and wolves. A hearty farm-to-fork lunch is served right on a working farm. It doesn’t get any fresher! Stay the night in the premier resort destination of Mont Tremblant. Take a cable car ride over stunning fall foliage. Choose from a varied selection of eateries at your resort for dinner. Day 3
Along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River’s lies charming Trois Rivières. Maple syrup is featured during lunch at a sugar shack. Try maple sugar taffy for dessert. Bet you can’t have just one! In Charlevoix, the land where the mountains meet the sea, the fall colors create a spellbinding setting. Enjoy your surroundings and accommodations at a traditional French auberge, best described as a larger Bed & Breakfast with home-cooked meals. Auberge Beausejour – 2 nights (FB,L,D)
Day 4
Charlevoix’s Flavour Trail has specialty farms producing upscale products used by Canada’s top chefs that you’ll have the opportunity to taste. Enjoy lunch on your own in charming Baie-Saint-Paul. After browsing the many shops and galleries, return to your hotel for a celebration of Canadian Thanksgiving with a traditional dinner sure to make you say “Oui, oui”! Day 5
Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica’s towering spires extend to the heavens. Notice the elaborate bronze doors during your tour, then visit the artist’s studio to learn about his craft. Continue to Quebec City stopping at one of the many roadside brick ovens baking fresh hot crusty bread. How will you take yours? We suggest a deep slathering of maple butter! Enjoy lunch at Quebec City’s iconic Chateau Frontenac perched high on the bluff. Walk it off on a tour of historic Lower Town Quebec. Your 4-star hotel is located at the heart of Old Quebec. Day 6
Île d’Orleans, an island nestled in the St. Lawrence River is truly a special place. At a ciderie, taste an array of apple wines and products after lunch in an 18th century gristmill. A gentle hike along the top of Montmorency Falls gives spectacular views. A gondola ride delivers you to the base and the gift shop, of course! The rest of the day is yours to explore town, or simply find a spot to enjoy your lovely surroundings. (FB,L)
Day 7
We’re off to Montreal! The cobblestone streets of Old Montreal transport to you to another time. The peace and tranquility of Notre Dame Basilica is palpable on a guided tour. Take a rest at the hotel before a fantastic farewell dinner. Hampton Inn Montreal – (FB,D)
Day 8
Spin around the city on a guided motorcoach tour through distinctly unique neighborhoods that give Montreal a decidedly cosmopolitan feel. Make picture stops with expansive city views. Alas, it’s time to bid “Au revoir” to La Belle province of Québec and catch your flight home. (FB)
