Day 1
Fly into Victoria via Seattle. Start your vacation with a touch of elegance and tradition that is High Tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel. There is nothing quite like the afternoon tea experience that the Empress offers. Your hotel, Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites, is a short walk from the Empress and is located in the heart of downtown with museums, shops and bustling waterfront within easy walking distance. The evening is free. Chateau Victoria - 3 nights (HT)
Day 2
Head north for our day at the world famous Butchart Gardens. Upon our arrival at the gardens, we'll start with lunch at the Blue Poppy and then have ample time to stroll through the gardens at your leisure. Don't forget to stop at their gift shop where you'll find a wide variety of merchandise from gifts to enhance your garden to jewelry to books. (L)
Day 3
How about a foodie adventure today? We'll go on walking Downtown Food & City Tour that will start right at our hotel. The afternoon and evening will be free. (L)
Day 4
Today we will travel by ferry to Vancouver. It's a comfortable journey and you are free to walk about the different decks. Onboard there are coffee bars, a cafe where you can get a snack and even a quiet space. Upon arrival in Vancouver, have lunch at a local restaurant before checking into our hotel for the next two nights. The Blu Horizon - 2 nights (L)
Day 5
Meet Geoff this morning, a local guide who will lead us on a comprehensive city tour. Stanley Park, Chinatown, the steam clock, and other points of interest - we'll see and learn about them all. The Steam Clock, is most unique, dating back to 1977. Later this evening we set sail on a Harbour Dinner Cruise as we take in the waterfront sights of this vibrant city of Vancouver. (D)
Day 6
Our trip comes to an end today and as we make our way to the Vancouver airport for our flight later this afternoon. Stop for a lovely lunch at Shaughnessey Restaurant before checking in at the airport for our travels back to Sacramento. (L)
