Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in San Diego mid-morning after your short flight. Lunch is at a landmark San Diego pie shop! Next, you are off to the famous San Diego Zoo. Your pass allows you to experience the guided bus tour (perfect for those who don't walk quite as much as others), the Sky-fari Aerial Tram and other zoo experiences. Dinner will be at your leisure at Seaport Village, where a wide variety of restaurants and shops await (Pier 39 in SF). Legacy Resort Hotel - 3 nights (L)
Day 2
Today's Theme is "A Taste of San Diego." Our journey kicks off with a local guide. The day will be filled with a delightful exploration of culinary traditions and historical landmarks in San Diego, Coronado Island, Liberty Station and Point Loma. The history and culinary diversity of the city is on full display. (FB,L)
Day 3
La Jolla is one of San Diego's most vibrant and upscale communities. The name means "the jewel," which certainly is an accurate description. Perched along a cliff, the city has a spectacular shoreline. The community offers shopping, distinguished art galleries, top-notch restaurants and incredible views. Our day includes a visit to Seal Cove, and a tour of the Museum of Contemporary Art, and there's free time for a walk on the beach or shopping. A fiesta farewell dinner is included tonight. (FB,D)
Day 4
Enjoy a leisurely morning before check out. Experience the patriotic sights and sounds of Fleet Week on the water on your narrated Champagne Brunch Cruise, followed by time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the day before heading to the airport for your return flight. (FB,BR)
