The Pageant of the Masters is considered one of the most distinctive art presentations in the world. It is a unique theatrical performance where actors pose as living pictures, accompanied by a live orchestra with a narrator telling the story behind each artwork presented. Hundreds of volunteers work tirelessly to bring together the intricate sets, lighting and costumes which are the hallmarks of the Pageant show. This year's theme is Gold Coast: Treasures of California.

A short flight to Southern California where we will head directly to Newport Beach and board a City Cruises yacht for a 3-hour brunch cruise. After brunch we'll stop at Roger's Gardens prior to checking in to our hotel. Your evening is free. Day 2
Today is all about art. This morning we will tour the impressive Segerstrom Center for the Arts complex in Orange County. This state-of-the-art complex has several performance venues including the grand opera house and a concert hall. Later this afternoon we head to Laguna Beach where we will get up close with the artists and their works at the Festival of the Arts for a docent-led tour. This will be followed by dinner at Terra Restaurant. The highlight of the evening comes later in the outdoor amphitheater where the Pageant comes to life. Our reserved seats are the perfect location to see all the Pageant has to offer. (B,D)
