This will require your full name, citizenship, birthday, city of residence and Social Security number. Please be advised those making reservations after this date are less likely to receive clearance. There is no guarantee we will get a White House Tour, but this follows the procedures to make you eligible. We would likely know 60 days prior to departure.*

Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Depart on a 7am flight to Chicago, connecting and arriving at Washington National at 5pm. This is the airport close to downtown. Enjoy an early dinner and check into your hotel. Hyatt Place National Mall – 5 nights (D)
Day 2
Embark on a comprehensive city tour with a local guide who will share tales of DC’s dynamic past and present. If you've never visited our nation's capital city, you will be impressed. The tour will help orientate you to The Mall and The Smithsonians, so you can pick your pleasure tomorrow. Plenty of stops en route, including time for lunch on your own. (ECB)
Day 3
Begin your exploration of the Smithsonian Institution and National Mall today. Air & Space, National Gallery of Art, African Art, US Heritage, it's all here. At the pre-tour orientation, we will discuss some of the options. Your coach will operate as a shuttle to allow you to move around easily or even return to your hotel. Maps and cell phone links will also be provided. Tonight, dinner is followed by a performance of "Shear Madness" at the Kennedy Center. The show opened here 32 years ago! (ECB,D)
Day 4
Visit the estate of George and Martha Washington, Mount Vernon, beautifully situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The gardens and museum are both worth a look (it's springtime, so there should be blooms everywhere). There's also a visit to the new National Museum of the US Army, bringing to life the story of thte US soldier in times of war and peace. (ECB,L)
Day 5
A morning visit to Arlington National Cemetery includes a narrated tram tour with stops at the Tomb of the Unknowns for the Changing of the Guard Ceremony and a special little twist. There is also a pause at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Robert E. Lee. There is some down time this afternoon, before dinner at a Sports Leisure favorite, Filomena Restaurant in Georgetown, followed by "D.C. After Dark," a tour of the illuminated monuments. (ECB, D)
Day 6
A guided tour of the United States Capital Building is featured this morning, followed by a visit to the International Spy Museum and lunch before we head to the airport and our flight home. (ECB,L)
