    Day 1

    Fly to Victoria by way of Seattle arriving in late afternoon. A waterfront lunch is in
    Sidney, a little seaside resort town full of boutique shopping, numerous new and used bookstores, and a charming English Sweets shop. You’ll get an assortment of
    traditional goodies to take with you. After checking into your all-suite hotel, enjoy an included sunset cocktail and dinner atop the city with sweeping views of the harbor and surrounding Olympic Mountains. Chateau Victoria – 3 nights (L,D)

    Day 2

    A narrated driving tour this morning gets you acquainted. Make note of the shops you want to visit! But first, warm up with a spot of tea, finger sandwiches and decadent petit fours at the famed Empress Hotel. It’s a meal fit for a queen! Learn about early Christmas traditions brought by immigrants at the award-winning Royal B.C. Museum, and stroll the lavishly decorated replica streets of Old Town Victoria.     Day 3

    The majestic Legislative Building is your first stop this morning. Look up, up, up at the tree as it reaches from the first floor into the rotunda. Swing by one evening to see the building lit up in red and green! The afternoon is yours to enjoy. Arrive at
    the world-renowned Butchart Gardens at dusk and enjoy a three-course dinner in the original family home. Afterwards, grab a hot drink and head out into the twinkling wonderland. The 12 Days of Christmas are cheekily represented with lighted displays. Bring your imagination and good cheer! And your camera! (FB,D)

    Enjoy a leisurely morning before a short
    walking tour of historic Fort Street with lots
    of little nibbles, interesting stories and your
    last chance to find that perfect gift! Fly home

A Play on the Lake, A Ride to the Sky

Head to Lake Tahoe for a fun overnighter featuring the 1960’s musical, Beehive. An exuberant jukebox celebration of women musicians from the 60’s; Beehive transports audiences on a nostalgic musical journey. The outdoor venue at Sand Harbor is perfect for a summer night of music, laughter, and of course Aqua Net-glistening coiffures! Join your fellow Sports Leisure travelers for a late morning trip to Truckee. Check into the Hampton Inn, don your best 60’s apparel (optional) before dinner at Moody’s before enjoying the show. Imagine, this venue has one of the most stunning backdrops in the world, a Lake Tahoe sunset!
After breakfast at the hotel; depart for Olympic Valley. Squaw Valley is one of the largest ski areas in the United States, and was host site of the entire 1960 Winter Olympics. A tram ride to the summit provides an aerial view of the valley, plus takes you to High Camp for lunch. Visit the Olympic Museum before returning to Sacramento, mid-afternoon.
