Hotel Accommodations Included

Sports Leisure Vacations is dedicated to providing quality travel experiences to our clients. We are also committed to being good stewards of your travel dollars. While Sports Leisure vacations may cost a bit more, they will give you the opportunity to truly enjoy your surroundings at a leisurely pace. Whether you prefer a little "down time" each day, or want to try and independently see everything there is to see, your itinerary and hotel location will allow you that flexibility as is possible.

When our tour planners are researching hotels for specific itineraries, there are two questions that they keep in consideration: Does this particular hotel provide a value-added experience to the vacation? Are we negotiating the best rates for our clients? At Sports Leisure Vacations we don’t always go for the least expensive choice but rather the best choice. Sometimes this means selecting a historic property, a remote wilderness lodge, or a convenient airport property.

Typically, we have found hotels within the Hilton Group to suit our needs nicely. You may enjoy a complimentary afternoon cocktail party at an Embassy Suites; a quiet evening at a more business-traveler style Hilton Garden Inn; or the convenience of an airport Hampton Inn. This is not to say we use Hilton properties exclusively. Drury Hotels, and occasionally Best Western hotels are also frequently used. To give you an idea of the scope of our hotels, consider this list:

  • Apple Farm Inn, San Luis Obispo
  • Dream Inn, Santa Cruz
  • Marriott Marquis Hotel, New York City
  • Red Cliffs Lodge, Moab
  • Spearfish Canyon Resort, Black Hills area, SD
  • The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe
  • Marriott Newport Beach Hotel & Spa, Newport Beach

  • Hotel Murano, Tacoma, WA

Can I make special requests?

You are invited to make special requests of the hotel(s) serving your vacation at the point of reservation. The more notice we have, the better our ability to accommodate you. Requests might include a smoking room, king bed and/or handicap-accessible room. Please note: we automatically request a non-smoking room for everyone in the group and a room with two beds for those traveling double occupancy unless you tell us otherwise. As handicap-accessible rooms are limited, we ask you to make this request only if your condition demands it. There could be another traveler who needs the room more than you.
