    Day 4

Travel south to Hot Springs where, more than 26,000 years ago, Woolly Mammoths were stuck in situ in a sinkhole. A visitors center enables you to view firsthand this working paleontological site. Over the years, this has been one of the Black Hills’ best kept secrets and is often a surprise to Sports Leisure travelers. This afternoon, board a jeep for a ride through the rolling hills of Custer State Park. Who knows what wildlife we’ll see? After all, this is the land where buffalos roam, and deer and antelope play!
