We do not share specific pick-up information on our web site, as we have found over the years that other travel groups tend to use our pick-up points without ours or the property owner's permission, which reflects poorly on our company and hurts our ability to offer convenient pick-up points to our clients. Accordingly, we ask that you not suggest our pick-up points to other groups you travel with, as "the more the merrier" does not often apply to parking lots. Your understanding is appreciated.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Sierra Repertory Theatre performs one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies. Two pairs of lovers and a rag-tag group of actors get lost in the woods. Meanwhile, the fairy kingdom is turned upside down by two quarreling leaders. Hold on to your heart – Cupid is armed and dangerous; and you’ll be laughing as his arrows go astray. Lunch is included at the City Hotel prior to the 2pm matinee.

Catalina Island Getaway

Catalina Island isn’t a destination; it’s a state of mind. And early fall is the perfect time to visit, with mild temperatures and after the summer crowds are gone. Our annual escape to the island “26 miles across the sea” features three nights at the Pavilion Lodge, in the heart of Avalon, right on the harbor and within walking distance of countless shops and restaurants. Begin with a short flight to Southern California. Enjoy a tour and spectacular Sunday Brunch aboard the Queen Mary, moored in Long Beach Harbor. Travel aboard the high-speed Catalina Express ferry to the island. At your hotel, enjoy a wine reception each night and a continental breakfast each morning. The itinerary includes several NEW adventures on the island as well as plenty of free time to enjoy additional activities or time to relax on your own. Included in the package is the new Twilight in the Casino tour which showcases the ballroom, big band dancing and wine & cheese on the balcony! We’ll also experience the new Evening Avalon Scenic tour aboard a new state-of-the-art electric bus. Finally, catch a glimpse of the underwater world surrounding the island on board a semi-submersible vehicle. A final night dinner is just steps from your hotel. A mid-morning return to the mainland by ferry allows you time for lunch in Long Beach at Parker’s Lighthouse prior to your late afternoon flight home.

Travel past wonderful waterfront sites and islands, viewing the Oakland Estuary; and Yerba Buena Island and lighthouse as you can only from the water. Take a step back as you realize the breadth and magnificence of this bay and its attributes. The trip is fully narrated, and binoculars are encouraged since we’ll talk about the natural as well as cultural history of this area. This is a rain or shine tour with a box lunch included during the cruise.
