A morning flight delivers us to Toronto. After meeting our local guide, we’ll make our way directly to dinner atop the CN Tower to dine at 1200 feet in a revolving restaurant. Both the view and the food are spectacular! Journey west of the city to the Waterloo Region, home to a large German population. Check into your hotel and rest up for the festivities to come! Radisson Hotel, Kitchener Waterloo – 3 nights (D)
This morning visit the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market, Canada’s largest year-round market with products ranging from fresh local produce to all types of arts and crafts. This place is a destination in itself! With the fall colors at their peak, travel along the scenic shores of Georgian Bay to the Blue Mountain Region. We’ll be following the Apple Pie Trail, stopping for an included lunch and lots of little tastings along the way. Return to your hotel to freshen up and then it’s a night of German food, beer, music and dancing at a local Festhalle. Who is doing the chicken dance? (FB,L,D)
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Take the morning to sleep in before exploring the nearby Mennonite Countryside. It’s Sunday so you’re sure to see horse-drawn buggies headed to church. Your local guide will explain the ins and outs of the community followed by Thanksgiving lunch featuring locally sourced farm fresh ingredients. Walk off lunch while exploring the Waterloo Region Museum and Crossroads Heritage Museum, which focuses on the local history of the late 1800s. Discover the stories of the folks who settled here. Return to your hotel and enjoy dinner at your leisure. (FB,L)
Everyone turns out for the KitchenerWaterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade, a charming and surprisingly entertaining event! You’ll have seating to enjoy all the sights and sounds. After the parade, bid farewell and travel to the Niagara Peninsula. Stop for lunch at a winery specializing in ice wine. Picked in the middle of winter, these grapes only produce one drop of liquid when crushed, making a sweet fruity wine. You can’t get this in Napa Valley! Arrive at your hotel and enjoy the nightly Manager’s Reception with cocktails and snacks. Every room has a view of Niagara Falls! Tonight laugh it up at Oh Canada… eh? Embassy Suites Niagara Falls – 2 nights (FB,L,D)
Today is all things Niagara Falls! Begin with a Journey Behind the Falls, where you are literally behind the waterfall. Feel the immense power of 6 million cubic feet of water per minute cascading down right in front of you! Take some time to explore Clifton Hill and grab a bite to eat before boarding your boat to sail right out to the base of the falls. Don’t worry, ponchos will be provided… but you’ll still get wet! Return to the hotel to dry off and then enjoy dinner at Element on the Falls, with a stunning view as you dine. (FB,D)
You have options this morning. You may either visit the Niagara Botanical Gardens or remain at the hotel to enjoy the view from your room a little longer. Cross the international border into New York and fly home from Buffalo. (FB)

First offered as a holiday excursion in 2013, it has been often requested by our Christmas crowd ever since, so we are pleased to bring A Coos Bay Christmas back for a return engagement.
This is an all-coach trip. Travel north to Ashland/Medford the first day. There’s a lunch break in Redding and tonight you’ll partake in the annual Christmas Feast at the Winchester Inn. The six-course meal comes with carolers and costumed staff.
The next morning (Christmas Eve), before departing for the coast, make an early morning visit to Harry & David’s. As is our Christmas shopping tradition, we have negotiated a little gift card to get you started on your expedition. Travel to the coast, stopping in Bandon at Washed Ashore, a most unique place that makes art out of ocean trash. At Cranberry Sweets, your sponsored-shopping activities continue. Finish the day at The Mill Casino/Hotel in Coos Bay. Dinner tonight is a Crab Fest (other options available), as the Dungeness season will have just started.
Christmas Day brings our legendary White Elephant Gift Exchange, an ecological tour of the area and a visit to Shore Acres State Park. Not only is there an interesting story, there is a wonderful display of Christmas lights. A holiday feast is planned.
The trip home takes you down the Oregon Coast, with shopping stops at Misty Meadows Jams and the House of Myrtlewood. Spend the night in Eureka and head home through the redwoods.
