Fly to Vancouver, B.C. this morning. Lunch is at Granville Island Public Market, an old concrete plant turned tourist hotspot. Enjoy views of the city as you dine waterside and browse the shops and stalls selling artisanal foods to locally produced arts and crafts. Experience Vancouver’s hottest new attraction! Buckle up for Fly Over Canada, a virtual flight simulator using four story high projection screens to give you the feeling of soaring over Canada’s iconic landmarks. Once “back on the ground,” check into your centrally located hotel, a great base for exploring the city. Blue Horizon Hotel – 2 nights (L)
A city tour featuring the iconic Gastown Steam Clock, Lions Gate Bridge, and an impressive collection of totem poles in Stanley Park fills your morning. For lunch, dine at Top of Vancouver, a revolving restaurant. Take a rest because tonight is the Celebration of Light, a pyrotechnics competition in which three countries are invited to compete annually. After a buffet dinner aboard a scenic cruise, the fireworks illuminate English Bay choreographed to music. It’s an impressive spectacle! (L,D)
This morning board the BC Ferry (bus and all) and make the one hour sail to Vancouver Island arriving in Sidney, a lovely seaside town. After lunch, head to Lolligobble, an English Sweets Shop full of old timey, unique candies unfamiliar to us Americans. You’ll get a little treat to take with you! Explore the main street shops before heading to your hotel in Victoria. Located a short walk from the Inner Harbour, many of the city’s attractions, restaurants and shops are at within an easy stroll. Chateau Victoria – 3 nights (L)
See Victoria from the top down on a double-decker bus tour ending at the majestic Empress Hotel for High Tea. You’ll sip the very same tea blend the Queen of England herself enjoys with assorted finger sandwiches. It’s the place to be seen, and you never know who you’ll meet! This afternoon explore nearby museums, do some shopping, take a whale watching cruise or even a seaplane tour. The choice is yours and your Tour Director can provide information and several different suggestions. (HT)
Take a short walk from your hotel to the iconic Parliament Buildings for a docentguided tour to learn about Canada’s governmental structure. Your next stop is Butchart Gardens! As it has been for over 100 years, everything will be in full bloom. After lunch in the original family home, take in the magnificent blooms. You’ve never seen so many colors of dahlias, or so large! Pick up seeds for your own garden at the gift shop before returning to the hotel in the early evening to enjoy a last night at your leisure. (L
Take the morning to make one final stroll along the water, find that perfect gift, or just relax in your hotel suite. Enjoy an included lunch before catching your mid-afternoon flight home. (L)

First offered as a holiday excursion in 2013, it has been often requested by our Christmas crowd ever since, so we are pleased to bring A Coos Bay Christmas back for a return engagement.
This is an all-coach trip. Travel north to Ashland/Medford the first day. There’s a lunch break in Redding and tonight you’ll partake in the annual Christmas Feast at the Winchester Inn. The six-course meal comes with carolers and costumed staff.
The next morning (Christmas Eve), before departing for the coast, make an early morning visit to Harry & David’s. As is our Christmas shopping tradition, we have negotiated a little gift card to get you started on your expedition. Travel to the coast, stopping in Bandon at Washed Ashore, a most unique place that makes art out of ocean trash. At Cranberry Sweets, your sponsored-shopping activities continue. Finish the day at The Mill Casino/Hotel in Coos Bay. Dinner tonight is a Crab Fest (other options available), as the Dungeness season will have just started.
Christmas Day brings our legendary White Elephant Gift Exchange, an ecological tour of the area and a visit to Shore Acres State Park. Not only is there an interesting story, there is a wonderful display of Christmas lights. A holiday feast is planned.
The trip home takes you down the Oregon Coast, with shopping stops at Misty Meadows Jams and the House of Myrtlewood. Spend the night in Eureka and head home through the redwoods.
