An 800-year-old chapter house from a Spanish monastery has been reassembled, stone-by-stone, at the Abbey of New Clairvaux. It’s a fascinating story.

Spend a day in the northern corner of the valley. We will head to lunch at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Chico, then continue to the amazing Sacred Stones project at the New Clairvaux Abbey in Vina. There you will have a guided tour of the abbey followed by a visit to the winery for a tour and tasting. You will have time to take in the beautiful view, enjoy the koi pond and visit the gift shop where you may find that perfect treasure. On the way home we will make a pitstop at Granzella's Gourmet and Gifts in Williams. Olives, anyone?
