"Shucked" - A Mystery Tour

One of the most highly nominated shows in the 2024 Tony Awards season was called Shucked. It was subtitled A Musical About Corn.

Sometimes the inspiration for a mystery tour comes from unexpected places and this would be proof! We just love that word "shucked." From that love came an idea. And from that idea, an exciting mystery tour was born featuring four unique destinations, two of which have NEVER been visited by Sports Leisure before. (Don't worry. You've probably never been to the other two as those tours ran many years ago.)
So what does the word shucked conjure up in your mind? Yes, you shuck corn. But you also shuck oysters. Additionally, a person could be said to shuck his clothing, especially if a bee has gotten into his bloomers! So is this a tour about corn, oysters, bumblebees, and/or bloomers? Or maybe it's a tour about theatrical productions with peculiar names? Aye, you don't really expect us to answer those questions, do you?
Next early summer you're invited into a world where shucking is commonplace, yet revered. Indeed, great monuments have been built to honor the institution of shucking and that which is shucked. Another monument honors dreamers and their dreams. Just be sure no to FALL down whilst looking up at all these monuments. Though sometimes in falling the only way to go is up! When you look on a map, north is up, but sometimes south is also up - it depends upon your perspective. Are you intrigued by the current architectural rage known as tiny homes? You'll learn about what could very well be the original on this trip. Do you like authors and artists? Both will be saluted and given the honor they are due. One is familiar, the other probably not so much. But you'll never forget his play on light.
