    Fly to Charlotte arriving in the early evening. Your hotel tonight features complimentary cocktails and nibbles upon arrival. Relax and enjoy dinner at your leisure at the Tryon Grill, located inside your hotel. Embassy Suites Charlotte Airport

  • Day 2

    Tour Charlotte Motor Speedway and learn about the “fastest” growing spectator sport in the world. A casual lunch is served in the Speedway Club. With fall colors ablaze, drive into the Blue Ridge Mountains to beautiful Asheville. Your home for the next two nights is located right on the grounds of the beautiful Biltmore Estate.   • Day 3

    Today is all things Biltmore! Learn about the Vanderbilt family on a tour of the grounds and home of the Biltmore Estate. Enjoy a seasonal farm-to-fork buffet lunch in the carriage house. Tonight, dine on the grounds or take a shuttle to the shops and restaurants of neighboring Biltmore Village for a leisurely dinner. (FB,L)

  • Day 4

    Wind your way over to the Great Smoky Mountains and into Tennessee, pausing in Gatlinburg at Moonshine Holler, named for the Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine Distillery. Johnny Bootlegger’s family has been making moonshine for 107 years…7 years legally! Tour the distillery and sample the signature drink of the South. In Pigeon Forge, your home for the next two nights, the Hatfields and McCoys continue their feud with a dinner show performance. The Inn at Christmas Place – 2 nights (FB,D)

  • Day 5

    When you wake up it will be Christmas morning… in October! Confused? At your famed hotel it’s Christmas 365 days a year! Wave goodbye to Santa and say hello to Dolly! Lots of crafts, live entertainment, and down-home charm are to be had at Dollywood. When ready, return to the hotel or shop the South’s largest Christmas Store to prepare for your own holiday celebrations.   • Day 6

    Take a drive through Dolly’s hometown of Sevierville and get a picture with her statue on the courthouse grounds. Hear about how she saved the town from certain ruin before heading west across the plains, stopping for lunch before arriving in Nashville. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of The Grand Ole Opry before attending the early evening show. Nashville Airport Marriott – 2 nights (FB,L)

  • Day 7

    Music City comes alive this morning on a city tour with fun stops along the way. Did you know the Parthenon was in Nashville? It is, sort of. Centennial Park has a to-scale replica and affords great pictures of the capitol building on the hill. After an included lunch downtown, visit the Country Music Hall of Fame with memorabilia from stars past and present! (FB,L)

  • Day 8

    Feel the “Soul of Nashville” during a multimedia presentation at the historic Ryman Auditorium, home of the original Grand Ole Opry and Union Gospel Tabernacle. Enjoy one last taste of Southern food with an updated twist before your late afternoon flight home. (FB,L)

Enjoy a ride to The City for a day of shopping, lunch or just looking around! The coach will drop you at Pier 39/ Fishermens Wharf and Union Square.


A Play on the Lake, A Ride to the Sky

Head to Lake Tahoe for a fun overnighter featuring the 1960’s musical, Beehive. An exuberant jukebox celebration of women musicians from the 60’s; Beehive transports audiences on a nostalgic musical journey. The outdoor venue at Sand Harbor is perfect for a summer night of music, laughter, and of course Aqua Net-glistening coiffures! Join your fellow Sports Leisure travelers for a late morning trip to Truckee. Check into the Hampton Inn, don your best 60’s apparel (optional) before dinner at Moody’s before enjoying the show. Imagine, this venue has one of the most stunning backdrops in the world, a Lake Tahoe sunset!
After breakfast at the hotel; depart for Olympic Valley. Squaw Valley is one of the largest ski areas in the United States, and was host site of the entire 1960 Winter Olympics. A tram ride to the summit provides an aerial view of the valley, plus takes you to High Camp for lunch. Visit the Olympic Museum before returning to Sacramento, mid-afternoon.
